Our policies are focused on minimizing ecological footprints which includes initiatives like enhancing energy efficiency, managing waste, conserving water, implementing sustainable resource usage, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
During the Financial Year 2023-24, 83% of the energy requirements were generated from our Solar Plants and Windmills.
Since 2004, Magna’s rainwater harvesting system has been a cornerstone of our sustainability efforts, successfully harvesting 300 million litres of water. In a region like Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where water scarcity is a concern, this harvested water is significant for recharging groundwater levels. This initiative directly contributes to local resource preservation and demonstrates our continued commitment to responsible environmental stewardship at our plant.
