For decades, fettling has been one of the most demanding operations in a foundry. At Magna MasterCAST, we began transforming that process early, with the introduction of 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐍𝐂 𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 2015,  positioning Magna among the 𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲.

Building on that foundation, we are proud to advance that journey with the addition of our 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐍𝐂 𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞, the Weijing Fettling Automation System. With our 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐍𝐂 𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤, we continue to accelerate our commitment to 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠.

We were honoured to have Mr. Santhanam Janakiraman and Mr.Nilesh Chaurasiya of Caterpillar Inc.. inaugurate this milestone. We sincerely thank him for gracing the occasion and appreciate Caterpillar’s continued trust and partnership with Magna.

At the same time, automation creates new opportunities for our people, enabling them to transition from repetitive manual activities to higher-value roles in operations, programming, process optimisation and quality assurance.

The NHM6300 is a 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲-𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 engineered for the precise machining of large, complex, and demanding components. With its robust design and advanced machining capabilities, the machine will play a key role in supporting increasing customer requirements and expanding our 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞-𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 operations.⚙️
