For decades, fettling has been one of the most demanding operations in a foundry. At Magna MasterCAST, we began transforming that process early, with the introduction of ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง 2015,ย positioning Magna among the ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ.
Building on that foundation, we are proud to advance that journey with the addition of our ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐, the Weijing Fettling Automation System. With our ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐๐๐ค, we continue to accelerate our commitment to ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง-๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ .
We were honoured to have Mr. Santhanam Janakiraman and Mr.Nilesh Chaurasiya of Caterpillar Inc.. inaugurate this milestone. We sincerely thank him for gracing the occasion and appreciate Caterpillar’s continued trust and partnership with Magna.
Our vision is clear: to drive ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งย in one of the foundry’s most labour-intensive processes.

At the same time, automation creates new opportunities for our people, enabling them to transition from repetitive manual activities to higher-value roles in operations, programming, process optimisation and quality assurance.
