With the monsoon winds sweeping across Tamil Nadu, our wind energy generation has surged — clocking a record 57,000 units in a single day on 2nd July 2026. 💨⚡
Our three windmills (1,650 kW + 800 kW + 800 kW), with a combined capacity of 3.25 MW, generated approximately 65.89 lakh units of clean energy in FY 2025-26 — and with the monsoon off to a strong start, we expect FY 2026-27 to match or better this performance. Every unit of wind energy powering our foundry is a step towards greener castings and a lower carbon footprint — avoiding an estimated 4,700+ tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.
And wind is only half of our renewable energy story. Our 4 MW solar plant — now expanded with an additional 1.1 MW — deserves a post of its own. Stay tuned. ☀️
